In the next Marvel movie Deadpool and WolverineDeadpool will embark on an adventure across time and the multiverse to try to change things and save his friends.
During a recent interview with Blavity TV, the head of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige was asked what he would change about the MCU’s past if he could go back in time.
Feige responded hesitantly, saying, “In small things, there are a lot of things. You can’t finish a project and then look back at it and not see a lot of little things that you would have done differently.
“Overall, we’ve been very fortunate. I’ve been very proud of almost every project we’ve done and every decision we’ve made.
“I think we weren’t shy about saying that after Endgame, with Disney+, there were so many new things that we brought [to the platform] in our enthusiasm to bring new characters to life.”
After a brief pause, Feige continued, “I think everything has had its place, but now we’re trying to figure out how to maintain that excitement and that enthusiasm for a handful of projects a year.”
Feige and his team will have a lot on their plate trying to keep fans interested in what’s to come. Deadpool and Wolverine It’s a movie that basically sells itself and will be a huge success. It’s everything Marvel has in store after that that will require some effort to keep fans excited about the MCU.
Marvel has made a lot of mistakes in recent years, and there are a lot of things that should have been done differently. While Feige doesn’t specifically mention changing anything in the past, his recent behind-the-scenes actions show that he is in the process of trying to change things for the future of the franchise.
Marvel Studios is learning from past mistakes and adapting for the future.
