Netflix has released a new clip for Arcane Season 2, based on the success League of Legends video game franchise.
We’ve already seen a stunning teaser trailer for the film that has fans excited, and while this clip doesn’t offer much insight into the plot, it’s still something fans can appreciate.
In the clip, Heimerdinger tries to sneak back into his lab, and is joined by the character Ekko, who is a bit confused by the situation.
League of Legends was co-created by Christian Linke AND Alex Yeeand this series follows the origins of League champions Vi and Jinx, as they find themselves caught in a power struggle between the utopian city of Piltover and the oppressed underground city of Zaun.
Arcane Season 2 is the final chapter of the story, and in it Jinx’s attack on the Council sets the stage for a terrible escalation in the conflict between Piltover and Zaun.
In the cities of Piltover and Zaun, “tensions rise as inventors, thugs, politicians, and crime lords grow increasingly dissatisfied with the constraints of a shattered society. With the situation on the brink of untenability, two sisters steal an artifact of immeasurable power. Discovery and danger collide as heroes are born and bonds are broken. Will this power change the world? Or will it lead to ruin? This is the world of Arcane.”
As for Jinx and Vi’s story, “Amid growing instability between the wealthy, utopian city of Piltover and its seedy, oppressed dark underbelly of Zaun, sisters Vi and Jinx find themselves on opposite sides of an ongoing conflict over competing beliefs and arcane technologies.”
Arcane Season 2 will debut on Netflix in November!
