Jamie Lee Curtis Won’t Play Doctor Kureha in ONE PIECE Series

There was a time not long ago when the creators of A piece AND My Friend Jamie Lee Curtis they were talking about the possibility of taking on the role of Dr. Kureha in the upcoming second season.

Well, unfortunately, it has been confirmed that Curtis will not be playing this character. This news comes from the producer My life is nice.

In an interview with Deadline, Clements explained, “He loves the show. He has too many movies and TV shows that he’s producing, so our production dates won’t work. He definitely wanted to do it, but he has first-position deals, and that got complicated.”

Clements went on to tease the possibility of casting Dr. Kureha, saying, “We found a fantastic person.” But he wouldn’t reveal who she was.

He also spoke about A piecethe production, stating: “This group here is incredible in every way, these actors, the production designers, the stunt team, the visual effects team, the art direction team, the things that they have to balance.

“We’re usually prepping and shooting multiple episodes at once, so you often have two units going; the way you have to split up your actors and your stunt teams. We’re building sets on stage, and we’re on location quite a bit.”

Clements continued: “I think we’re somewhere between 900 and 1,200 people, and the level of creativity and professionalism in wardrobe, hair and makeup, Jaco [Snyman]our prosthetics person, they are an inspiration. These people are some of the best I have ever worked with.

“And this intellectual property, Oda’s brain is so fertile and unique that everyone feels invigorated every day, thinking: how are we going to do this? And people who have been working on it for a while, they can feel the almost childlike excitement of trying to make it happen.”

In the series, “Monkey D. Luffy is a young adventurer who has always wanted a life of freedom. Luffy sets out from his small village on a dangerous journey to find the legendary treasure, One Piece, to become the Pirate King!

“But to find the ultimate prize, Luffy will have to assemble the crew he’s always wanted before finding a ship to set sail with, exploring every inch of the vast seas, outrunning Marines, and outsmarting dangerous rivals at every turn.”

A piece The second season does not yet have a release date, but it is expected to hit Netflix in 2025.
