A new trailer has been released for the second season of the Disney+ animated series Star Wars: The Adventures of the Young Jedi.
The series is set during the era of the High Republic and “follows young Jedi as they study the ways of the Force, explore the galaxy, aid citizens and creatures in need, and learn valuable skills necessary to become a Jedi along the way.”
Kai Bright Star (by Jamaal Avery Jr.), Lys Solay (Juliet Donenfeld), and Nubs (Baker Dee Bradley) are the main Jedi characters, with the pilot Nash Durango (Emma Berman) joining them in their adventures. Set 200 years before “The Phantom Menace,” during the era of the High Republic, “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” follows young Jedi Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Nubs as they study the ways of the Force, explore the galaxy, help citizens and creatures in need, and learn the valuable skills needed to become a Jedi along the way.
“Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” Season 2 follows the young Jedi as they continue their training and embark on even greater missions across the galaxy. Helping guide the young Jedi on these missions is Master Zia’s new Padawan, Wes Vinik, and his astromech RO-M1. As they continue their training and grow in the ways of the Force, the young Jedi will travel to new planets with new and old friends and encounter adversaries like the Gangul, who are rising in their ranks as pirates…
Season 2 of Star Wars: The Adventures of the Young Jedi will debut on Disney+ and Disney Jr. on Wednesday, August 14. Watch the trailer below:
