New BEETLEJUICE Trailer Takes Us On An Afterlife Adventure

Warner Bros. has released another fantastic trailer for Tim Burton’s World’S Beetle Juice Beetle Juiceand this gives us our best look yet at the film and its spooky, whimsical afterlife adventure.

michelle keaton is back as Beetlejuice, and it looks like he’s having fun playing the character once again! As you’ll see, this movie is going to be full of great Beetlejuice moments!

The trailer also reveals more plot details, as Beetlejuice and Lydia must team up to help her find and save her daughter from the afterlife.

In the film, “After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still obsessed with Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the city in the attic and the portal to the afterlife is accidentally opened.”

“With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time before someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his own brand of mayhem.”

Keaton is joined by actress like Lydia Deetz, Catherine O’Haralike Delia Deetz, with new cast members Justin Theroux (Leftovers), Monica Bellucci (Spectre, the Matrix movies), Arthur Conti (House of the Dragon), Jenna Ortega (Wednesday, Scream VI) like Lydia’s daughter, Astrid, and Willem Dafoe’s World like a B-movie action star who died and became a police officer in the afterlife.

Burton explained what inspired him to tell the story, saying, “I identified with Lydia’s character so much, but then you come all these years later, and you go through your journey from being a cool teenager to a nerdy adult, back and forth. That made it exciting, that gave it a foundation. So that was the thing that really drew me in.”

Alfred Gough AND Miles Millar (Wednesday AND Small Villa) wrote the screenplay along with an earlier draft of Seth Grahame Smith AND David KatzenbergKatzenberg and Grahame-Smith are also producers. Danny Elfman returns to compose the soundtrack.

Beetle Juice will be released in theaters on September 6, 2024.
