28 YEARS LATER Set photos show Jodie Comer and she looks battered and ruined

Some photos from the set of Danny Boyle AND Alex Garland’S 28 years later have emerged and are a first look at Jodie Comerthe character of is being chased by a group of naked zombies. It looks like he’s been through a rough patch.

There are no plot details to share yet, but Garland has previously offered some insight into the film’s theme. She said, “It’s about the passage of time and thinking about what the passage of time would do.”

He added: “Is this what you would traditionally call a post-apocalyptic state? Or has something else started to manifest? Time is really at the heart of the engine of the film.”

When previously teasing the third film, Garland said: “I had a really great idea for this, but it’s a much bigger movie, and one of the things about 28 days later is that it was small and punk and this idea is less small and punk.”

Comer said she is “incredibly excited” to begin working on the film with Boyle. Although she is “terrified” of saying anything that would spoil the story, she spoke about her involvement in the film and teased the script while talking about the original film.

She added: “Having met Danny, he’s incredibly confident, confident and innovative. As an actress, to be on set with someone like him leading the charge is so exciting.

“I remember seeing 28 days later and I was really struck by how grounded it was in reality and how it was more about exploring us as a species and how we behave and how we react.

Comer continued to tease, “It felt like there was a lot of emotional truth in the movie that really anchored it. That’s also what I felt when I read this script.”

The film also stars Cillian Murphy, by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jack O’ConnellAND Ralph Fiennes Boyle is ready to direct the first film of the trilogy and The wonders director Nia DaCosta is in talks to direct the second.
