With Marvel Studios releasing Deadpool and Wolverine Coming Soon, Marketing has been upped to eleven! Every day there is more to share about this film.
Today we have a new TV spot called “Purpose,” which features a good amount of new footage from the film, including shots of Cassandra Nova and Alioth from The Void.
There’s a cool shot of Alioth approaching Giant-Man’s remains in The Void, and there’s also a funny exchange between Wade and Logan about Deadpool being “God’s perfect idiot.”
The film is set six years after the events of PersonagesWade has hung up his uniform, is no longer dating Vanessa, and seems content with his job as a used car salesman.
While celebrating his birthday with friends, agents of the Time Variance Authority tear Wade from his reality and take him to meet their boss, Mr. Paradox, who informs Deadpool that a greater destiny awaits him.
This is the beginning of a grand adventure in the multiverse with Wolverine!
The confirmed cast for the film also includes Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin like Cassandra Nova, Morena Baccarin AND Stefan Kapicic like Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen as a TVA agent, and Leslie Uggams like Blind Al.
They join them Brianna Hildebrand AND Shioli Kutsunawho will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend, Yukio. It was previously confirmed that actress Jennifer Garner will return to the role of Electra in the film.
Deadpool and Wolverine will hit theaters on July 26th!
