Here’s a trailer for an interesting new horror thriller titled Collect crumbs, which feels like a wild and disturbing cinematic experience.
The film tells the story of newlyweds Shane and Leah, whose marriage is put to the test when two oddballs with entrepreneurial zeal and a clumsy blackmail plan ruin their honeymoon.
The synopsis reads: “On a remote estate in upstate New York, newlyweds Leah (Ella Rae Peck) and Shane (Garay Line) celebrate their honeymoon, but a shadow looms over their union.
“She works for the publisher who will publish her debut novel, a slightly autobiographical examination of family trauma, alcoholism, and the immigration experience.
“The newly repressed tensions of a family trauma would be enough to trigger an explosion, but Leah and Shane’s marriage is put to the test by the appearance of two oddballs with entrepreneurial zeal and an ill-conceived blackmail plan: John (John Speredakos) and Rosa (Lorena Farris).
“They’re looking for investors for John’s latest invention, a culinary discovery called the Crumb Catcher, and they won’t take no for an answer.
“A gonzo home invasion thriller from Larry Fessenden’s Glass Eye Pix that turns the American dream into a simple dessert, Crumb Catcher is a surprising directorial debut from Chris Skotchdopole.”
The film was written and directed by Chris Scotchdopole and will be released on July 19th.
