Jessica Alba is currently enjoying success with his recent Netflix action thriller, Activation Noticeand as she makes the rounds in the press for this, people can’t help but ask her about Fantastic Four due to Marvel’s upcoming reboot.
As you know, Alba played Sue Storm in the 2005 adaptation along with Chris Evans, Ioan GruffuddAND Michael Chiklis.
When asked about her time shooting the film, she told Entertainment Tonight, “I loved those movies and [it] that series changed my life too.”
She was then asked if she had ever been approached to reprise her role in the play Sue Storm. Alba said: “No one has spoken to me about it, but I would jump at the chance.”
She added: “She was so… I loved that character and I felt like she was so unique in the Marvel Universe at the time. There were no superheroes like her.”
When previously there was talk of acting in Fantastic FourThe actresses said: “It’s nothing but good memories. I loved playing that character. I feel like my whole life started in a lot of ways at that moment.
“I met my life partner [producer Cash Warren]we are still together, we have three children. Tim’s storywho directed, is still one of my best friends. We spend New Year’s Eve together.
“It was great and it was such a cool, inspiring character and ahead of her time, I would say, in the genre. And again, you haven’t seen someone who is so thoughtful and feminine, but also a fearsome badass.
“I haven’t seen that combination again. And so I think it still fills this wonderful kind of space or void in the Marvel Universe.”

The Next MCU Reimagining The fantastic Four has hired Peter Pascal like Reed Richards (aka Mr. Fantastic); Vanessa Kirby like Sue Storm (aka the Invisible Woman); Joseph Quinn like Johnny Storm (aka the Human Torch); and Ebony moss – Bachrach like Ben Grimm (aka the Thing). Julia Garner will play Shalla-Bal, a version of the Silver Surfer; and Paul Walter Hauser has been cast in an undisclosed role.
Matt Shakman (WandaVision) is directing from a script by Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff KaplanAND Ian Springer. Peter Cameron (WandaVision) also wrote about the project. Production will begin this summer, and the film is expected to hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
