Here’s a trailer for an upcoming baseball movie titled You have to believewhich has as protagonists Luke Wilson AND Greg KinnearThe film tells the true story of a Little League baseball team in 2002.
The film focuses on “a team’s journey from district underdog to Little League champion: the story of Bobby Ratliff.
“After dedicating their season to the ailing father of a teammate, a group of underrated young baseball players on the Westside All-Stars team from Fort Worth, Texas, take their Cinderella run all the way to the 2002 Little League World Series, culminating in a record-breaking showdown that became an instant ESPN classic.”
It sounds like a wonderful and touching story about a “group of kids who, after a teammate’s father is diagnosed with cancer, come together and learn to play the sport they love for a cause much bigger than themselves.”
The film was written and directed by the writer and director Guy Robertsand also recites Sarah Gadon, Temple of Lew, Cash Michael, Etienne KelliciAND Molly ParkerI like motivational and slightly cheesy sports movies, and this one looks really good.
