Here is the trailer for an upcoming independent sci-fi horror film titled Lumina. The film centers on four friends who desperately search for their kidnapped friend in a DUMB – Deep Underground Military Base. What they find from the American desert to the sands of the Sahara will change their lives forever.
Lumina tells the story of Alex, “whose girlfriend Tatiana suddenly disappears in a blinding flash of light. Completely traumatized by the situation, Alex, along with his friends and a conspiracy theorist, embarks on a journey through a desert, during which they encounter unexpected challenges that force them to fight for their lives and discover the truth that will change their lives.”
The film is said to “examine the psychological effects on people when a family member or loved one disappears.”
The film was written and directed by Gino McKoy and the stars Dr. Ken Lawson, Eric Roberts, Emily Sala, Rupert Lazarus, Eleanor Williams, Andrea TivadarAND Sydney Nicole Rogers.
As you’ll see, there’s a lot going on in this trailer, a lot of things this film wants to explore. It might be worth watching if you’re looking for something different.
It will be released in select theaters on July 12, 2024.
