Lucasfilm has released a new character poster along with more details on the main villain The Acolytea Sith they call The Stranger, but if you’ve seen the latest episode, he’s no longer a stranger.
It has been confirmed that behind the “Darth Teeth” helmet is the character of Qimir, who tasked Mae with killing the Jedi Masters who had confronted her mother’s coven years before.
The character description reads: “With a special shorty gauntlet and a mask permanently distorted into a fearsome smile, the Stranger with a red-bladed lightsaber appears as if from nowhere.
“While some might call him a Sith, little is known about this dark sider who trained Mae Aniseya in secret, hiding his face from his student.”
“When necessary, he adopted the alias Qimir, acting as an inept wanderer and provider seemingly without any concerns beyond his own entertainment.”
This character is extremely powerful and ends up killing several Jedi characters. He is so powerful that it makes you wonder why he needed Mae to hunt down and kill a Jedi in the first place.
There are also details on the Stranger’s helmet. It says, “The twisted metal forms a sinister smile on the cortasis helmet that masks the Stranger’s identity and prevents Force-sensitives from peering into their thoughts.
“Without a name and with no allegiance to the Jedi, this dangerous creature seeks the freedom to wield power as he chooses.”
As for his lightsaber, “The Stranger’s red-bladed lightsaber holds a secret: a hidden dagger that can be used when the hilt is split in two.”
