The first reactions have emerged for Paramount Pictures’ next horror film A quiet place: first daywhich takes place before the events of the first two films in the series.
As you’ll see from the reviews, critics love the movie! The film is described as “terrifying and beautiful”, “emotionally taxing”, “heart-pounding”, “big hearted” and is full of “frightening monster carnage”.
The film takes audiences back to the beginning, when aliens first invaded planet Earth. Creator John Krasinski previously said of the film: “We follow Lupita Nyong’o’s character as she goes through the first horrific moments of the alien invasion in the loudest city in the world, New York City.”
The film has a solid cast including Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex WolffAND Djimon Hounsou. The film was written and directed by Michele Sarnoski (Pig).
