The first season of Fall it was absolutely fantastic! The creative team did a great job bringing this story to life and fans are excited to see how the story will continue with season two.
As you know, developing a series like this takes a lot of work, and a second season isn’t something we’ll see anytime soon, but the creative team is working hard to get it there as quickly as possible. .”
During an interview with THR, the showrunners Graham Wagner AND Geneva Robertson-Dworet talked about the second season of the series and what time period audiences can expect Fall return.
Wagner said: “I’m reluctant to give a date that will be taken out of context and posted on Reddit for about a year. But we’re going as fast as we can and we’ve got a lot of heavy lifting to do.” from the first season already done.”
He added: “We have sets, assets and visual effects ready. We are hitting the ground running this season. We will give our all to get Season 2 out as fast as humanly possible.”
It’s great that they’re working quickly to make Fallout Season 2 work, but I don’t mind if they take their time to make sure the story is solid and the scripts are in the best shape possible. I don’t want them to sacrifice quality to push it out faster.
The showrunners also address their original five-season plan for the series by saying that, given the success of the series’ first season, “five [seasons] suddenly feels a little more attractive.”
As for what audiences can expect, Robertson-Dworet notes that he’s “really grateful to have the opportunity to bring to the screen all the things that didn’t quite fit in the first season.”
Based on the video game series by Bethesda Game Studios, Fall it is the story of those who have and those who have not, in a world where there is almost nothing left to have. Two hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle inhabitants of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully strange, and highly violent universe awaiting them.
The series is the protagonist Ella Purnell as Lucy, an optimistic Vault dweller with an all-American spirit. Her peaceful and idealistic nature is put to the test when she is forced to surface to save her father.
Aaron Moten is Maximus, a young soldier who rises to the rank of squire in the militaristic faction called the Brotherhood of Steel. He will do anything to further the Brotherhood’s goals of restoring law and order to the wasteland.
Walton Goggins he is the Ghoul, a morally ambiguous bounty hunter who carries within him 200 years of post-nuclear world history.
These disparate parties collide when they chase an artifact from an enigmatic researcher who has the potential to fundamentally change the power dynamics in this world.
The cast of the series also includes Kyle MacLachlan (Twin peaks), Moises Arias (The King of Staten Island), Sarita Choudhury (Homeland), Michael Emerson (Person of interest), Leslie Uggam (Dead Pool), Francesca Turner (The boys), Dave Register (Increased), Zach Cherry (Separation), Johnny Pemberton (Ant man), Rodrigo Luzzi (Dead players), Annabel O’Hagan (Law and Order: SVU), AND Xelia Mendes-Jones (The Wheel of Time).
