Actress Evangeline Lilly she is best known for her roles in the series Lostand Marvel Ant man film franchise.
She appeared in the most recent episode, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniawhich ensured that her character Wasp/Hope Van Dyne continued alongside Ant-Man/Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) in upcoming multiversal Marvel stories, including the Avengers films. But it seems that the future of the Wasp is now uncertain.
Lilly took to social media to post an old video of herself on the set of Lostwhere he shared his hopes for the future, and included the following note:
Thank you @lost_theothers for dredging up this footage (almost twenty years old) of me talking about my dreams under (what looks like) a full moon 🌝 And thanks to @femalepoetssociety for dredging up this (much older) footage of the incredible # mayaangelou which perfectly expresses how I feel about life.
I am so full of joy and contentment today as I live out my vision. Praise God, I feel so grateful for my blessings.
Walking away from what seems like the most obvious choice (wealth and fame) can feel scary at times, but stepping into your dharma replaces fear with fulfillment.
I may return to Hollywood one day, but, for now, this is where I belong. A new season is here and I AM READY… and I AM HAPPY.
It’s unknown what will happen to the Wasp character in future Marvel films, but perhaps we’ll simply see the story center around Scott Lang and his daughter Cassie.
