SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY Set Photos Reveal Sadie Sink, Bloody Bruce Banner and Possible Female Villain

The cameras start rolling again Spider-Man: The New Dayand with that comes another set of exciting set photos that are already sparking plenty of fan theories.

The latest images give us our first look at Sadie Sink in costume, looking battered Marco Ruffalo as Bruce Banner and even a mysterious female character who could be the film’s secret villain.

The biggest revelation from this round of set photos is Sadie Sinkwho could play a street character rumored to be The Punisher’s sidekick. Although Marvel has not confirmed his role, fans are convinced that the character of Sink will be linked in some way to the world of Frank Castle.

Then there are the photos with Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner. Photographer @UnBoxPHD confirmed that the Avenger was being loaded into the emergency vehicle, which immediately raises questions. Why would someone who can transform into the Hulk need medical attention?

Ruffalo’s Banner appears injured in these photos, with wounds visible on his face and head. This could lend weight to ongoing rumors that Brand New Day will feature a “Savage Hulk” storyline. If Banner isn’t able to transform, that could explain why he’s suddenly vulnerable in a world where Spider-Man and the Avengers often face planet-wide threats.

Another image gaining popularity online shows an unidentified woman confronting a group of extras on set. Social media quickly lit up with theories that she could be the mysterious female villain from the film. But since the actress’s name doesn’t seem to be recognizable, she could simply be an extra involved in an action sequence.

However, the secrecy surrounding her appearance has led fans to speculate about everything from Black Cat to a new original antagonist created for the MCU.

It was also noticed in previous shots Liza Colón-Zayaswho many believe plays Jean DeWolff, a well-known ally of Spider-Man in the comics. He saw her interacting with the web slinger in the photo.

Spider-Man: The New Day is shaping up to be one of Marvel’s most intriguing upcoming films.
