New Featurette for STAR WARS: THE ACOLYTE Focuses on “Combat Creation”

Lucasfilm released a couple of new featurettes for you to watch today Star Wars: The Acolyte. The first focuses on the making of the series’ fight scenes, while the second is a complete behind-the-scenes video.

Many of these featurettes have been released for the series, and Lucasfilm hopes that they will get fans excited for what this series will offer.

Interviews with the cast and crew discuss what it’s like for them to make these films and offer new details about their characters and story. They also offer some fun new cutscenes!

Movie stars Amanda Steinberg like Mae, Lee Jung Jae as Jedi Master Sol, Manny Giacinto like Qimir, Dafne Keen as Jecki Lon, Charlie Barnett as Jedi Knight Yord Fandar, and Carrie Anne-Moss as Jedi Master Indara.

The Acolyte is described as “a mystery thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of dark secrets and emerging dark side powers in the final days of the High Republic era.” The High Republic is set 100 years before the start of the Skywalker Saga.

Steinberg plays a former Padawan and a dangerous warrior who is hunting and killing Jedi. In the story, “An investigation into a shocking crime spree confronts a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung Jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Stenberg).

“As new clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal that all is not what it seems…”

The Acolyte will consist of eight episodes and recently premiered on Disney+.
