Gold Boosters is one of the projects in development at DC Studios and it is reported that the co-CEO James Gunn could write some episodes for the series with Jody Hill (Pacifier) directed.
When we spoke previously Gold Boosters, Gunn said, “This is an absolute fan favorite. It’s about a loser from the future, who uses basic future technology to return to the present and pretend to be a superhero. It’s a series like any other series for HBO Max. Booster Gold is impostor syndrome as a superhero.
Some fans have been wondering who could take on the role of Booster Gold and today we have three names who could potentially take on the role of this character.
An untested source, Film Front, claims to have learned who the three favorites to play the DCU’s Booster Gold will be.
According to the site Dylan Playfair (Descendants), Fionn Whitehead (Dunkirk), AND Patrick Schwarzenegger (Gen V) all auditioned for the role of Booster. So, there is a possibility that one of them could get the role.
I don’t really care who gets cast as Booster as long as the actor is perfect for the character and Gunn seems to have a great eye for playing these types of characters. So I’ll just trust Gunn. Any of these actors could be good in the role.
This Gold Boosters The series is still in early development, so it will be a while before we start to see how the project will develop.
