Steve Buscemi He is taking a strong comic turning point as a criminal obsessed with cyber in a new series of ads for the Australian Telstra telecommunications provider.
By interpreting an evil gentleman, Buscemi gathers his crew with the plans to unleash “Scameddon” and conquer Australia through a huge computer attack, just to reveal his patterns.
On this point, Buscemi declares: “The peoples of Oostalia will soon know the complete genius of our evil power. Take off the scamddon! What is the problem of fry now, Craig?” To which his henchman replies embarrassed: “Your height, it seems that our millions of scams have been scammed”.
Frustrated, The Overlord Geme, “Ok, what was the only rule I said we had to remember. Don’t direct a powerful network!”
The advertising campaign skillfully highlights the strong protections of Telstra’s IT security, letting Buscemi chews the scenario as only him. I would watch a movie based on this character that Buscemi plays here!
