Director Zach Cregger (Barbarian) has added some new cast members to its upcoming horror film Weapons.
Benedict Wong (3 Body problem), Amy Madigan (Horn), Austin Abrams (Euphoria), AND Cary Christopher (Days of our lives) have all joined the film.
They join the previously announced cast of Josh Brolin (Dune 2), Giulia Garner (The Royal Hotel), AND Alden Ehrenreich (Cocaine bear) in the mystery movie.
The film is described as “an interconnected multi-story horror epic focusing on witchcraft and missing children.” It is also said that “tonally it is in the vein of Magnoliathe showcase full of actors from the 1999 director Paul Thomas Anderson.”
There isn’t much other information other than that filming will begin in mid-May in Atlanta. Weapons will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.
