A new poster has been released for one of this year’s most anticipated films, Beetle juice Beetle juice. The full trailer drops this Thursday, so this is a fun little teaser for us to enjoy before it gets here.
The film features returning cast members Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, AND Catherine O’Haraand the new arrivals Jenna Ortega, Willem Dafoe, Justin TherouxAND Monica Bellucci.
Here’s the official plot synopsis: “After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River.
“Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the city in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened.
“With trouble looming in both kingdoms, it’s only a matter of time before someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to wreak his own personal havoc.”
The upcoming sequel is said to be a true throwback to the days of 1980s craftsmanship, with the director Tim Burton using practical and classic stop motion effects as much as possible. Burton collaborator Danny Elfman he returned to compose the film’s score.
The screenplay is written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Wednesday), from a story by Gough & Millar e Seth Grahame-Smith (The LEGO® Batman Movie), based on characters created by Michael McDowell and Larry Wilson.
