Demi Moore, Margaret QualleyAND Dennis Quaid will star in an upcoming body horror film titled The substancea film recently acquired by Mubi ahead of its Cannes premiere.
The film is described like this: “Have you ever dreamed of a better version of yourself? You should try this new product: The Substance. It changed my life. With The Substance you can generate another version of yourself, younger, more beautiful, more perfect… Just share the time. A week for one, a week for the other. A perfect balance of seven days. Easy, isn’t it?”
The film was written and directed by Coralie Fargeatwho previously made the 2017 action thriller, Vendetta.
The film will be released in theaters later this year.
