Enjoy these funny SUPERMAN memes playing with the first look at David Corenswet in his suit

After James Gunn he released that first look Superman with David Corenswet all dressed in his outfit, fans took to social media to mock him.

I’ve collected some of the funny memes I’ve come across that capture the lack of urgency Superman displays as Metropolis is attacked by a giant glowing ball of death.

Many fans were expecting some sort of heroic action shot, but instead we got a shot of the iconic hero putting on his boots just like the rest of us would. It’s an everyman approach to the character, but some fans didn’t like it very much.

Releasing that image was a miscalculation on Gunn’s part, but I’m still confident that the director will make a great Superman film.
