WEDNESDAY Season 2 production begins as the full cast is revealed in a teaser video and includes Christopher Lloyd!

Netflix has announced that production has officially begun Wednesday Season 2 and they also revealed the full cast with a fun teaser video.

Jenna Ortega returns to host the new season as Wednesday Addams, with Luis Guzman returning as Gomez Addams and Catherine Zeta-Jones returns as Morticia Addams.

Also includes the cast of season two Sunday of Joy like Bianca, Joanna Lumley like grandmother, Emma Myers like Enid, Steve Buscemi as Barry Dort, Billie Piper like Capri, and Thanks Newton as Dr. Fairburn, along with Hunter Doohan, Victor Dorobantu, Moosa Mostafa, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo, Georgie Farmer, Isaac Ordonez, Evie Templeton, Owen PainterAND Noah Taylor.

Additionally, guest stars for the second season include Jamie McShane, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, Joonas Suotamo, Fred ArmisenAND Christopher Lloyd.

I should note that Lloyd played Uncle Fester in the live-action Addams Family film, while Armisen plays Fester in Wednesday series. It will be interesting to see who he plays in this one.

Netflix also revealed it Wednesday Season 2: Chapter One is titled “Here We Woe Again”, featuring Tim Burton direct!

The series is described as “a detective, supernatural-infused mystery chronicling Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy.” The series follows…

“Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago, all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships ”.

Alfred Gough AND Miles Millar created the series and also serves as co-showrunners and executive producers. Tim Burton he directed the first four episodes of the first season and is also an executive producer on the project.

Previously speaking about what we can expect from season two, Ortega said: “We’re definitely leaning a little bit more into horror but it’s really, really exciting because throughout the show, whereas Wednesday needs a bit of an arc , she never really changes and that’s the wonderful thing about her.

He continued: “There are really, really good jokes, and I think everything is bigger, it’s much more action-packed. Each episode will probably feel a little more like a movie, which is nice.”

Let’s hope season 2 is as fun as season 1! I’ve also included a photo of the cast.
