The rebel Wilson (Bridesmaids, Jojo Rabbit) has had a good career, playing mostly comedic roles that kicked off in 2012, when the first one came out Pitch perfect the film entered the scene.
The franchise ended up making two successful sequels and a spin-off series that didn’t last very long, but according to Wilson we can anticipate a fourth film.
In a recent interview with BBC Radio 2, the actress shared: “Hopefully, there’s a fourth in the works. There’s one in development.”
She added: “I mean, I know we’re older now, so I don’t know exactly what the plot will be. I guess they have to finalize the script first, which is the age-old dilemma.”
So it seems like things are still in a very early stage, but it’s nice to know that another one is in the works. I like the whimsy of those films and their fun soundtracks. We’ll let you know more as the sequel develops.
