A full trailer has been released for Wētā Workshop’s upcoming Middle Earth video game, Tales of the Shire: The Lord of the Rings Game.
As you know, Wētā Workshop is the New Zealand-based special effects and props company he worked on Peter Jackson’S Lord of the Rings film trilogy.
The game is published by Private Division and is described as a “cosy” and “moving” Lord of the Rings game. This game will allow players to live their relaxing and relaxing Hobbit life to the fullest.
The game invites players to “experience the storybook return of Hobbit life in the idyllic town of Bywater. Relax in the breathtaking pastures, visit the local citizens’ shops or even enjoy second breakfast.
“Help bring the community together and gain official village status by holding the largest Bywater Festival the County has ever seen.”
Most games set in Middle-earth focus on grand adventures and intense epic battles. Not this one! This is just meant to bring complete relaxation to players, making you want to actually live in the Shire.
Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game will be released in the second half of 2024 on PS5 (PlayStation 5), Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
