Donald Glover is the latest Hollywood actor to jump into the anime game. He wants to get in on the action and is teaming up with the comedian Zack Fox on a project.
Glover himself revealed the news while a guest on the GILGA Radio Show. During the interview, Glover confirmed the title of Childish Gambino’s latest album and, when asked about the future, Glover revealed that he is working on this anime.
He didn’t offer any other details about the project, as a fan of Glover and Fox’s comedic style, Glover’s sense of storytelling, I’m curious to see what comes of it.
Hollywood really needs to start embracing anime, but right now most just don’t understand it, and for some reason, don’t think there’s an audience for it.
While Glover works on this anime, he keeps busy with other projects, including Star Wars: Lando film, a parody biopic of 21 Savage, and his recently released project was the reboot of the series Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
