Sam Raimi and Jon Favreau would be possible directors of SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Sequel

Marvel and Sony are currently looking for a director to entrust the sequel Spider-Man: No Way Home. Two of the most recent directors mentioned were Justin Lin AND Drew Goddardbut now there are other possibilities who have been nominated to take up the job.

According to World Of Reel, Sam Raimi (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) is in the running to direct the next Spider-Man movie, and they say that too John Francis Daley AND Jonathan Goldstein (Game nights, Dungeons & Dragons) AND Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Mandalorian) could be possibilities.

Raimi was previously rumored to be for the Avengers: The Kang Dynasty AND Avengers: Secret Wars movies for Marvel. But maybe she would have done all three.

As for Favreau, I seriously doubt he would end up doing it. He is currently playing in Star Wars sandpit with The Mandalorian and is currently developing The Mandalorian and Grogu film for Lucasfilm, along with everything that comes after.

Then, there is John Francis Daley AND Jonathan Goldstein, would be great! The two worked on the screenplay of Spider-Man: Homecomingso they’re very familiar with that corner of the Marvel universe.

Sony and Marvel have yet to make an official announcement regarding Spider-Man 4, but the project is in development.

Tom Holland AND Zendaya they will return to the roles of Peter Parker and MJ respectively, and the film is expected to begin shooting later this year, in September or October.
