Deadpool and Wolverine director Shawn Levy he was once again questioned about the rumors Taylor Swift cameo in the film. It’s so funny because she keeps asking him! Do these people conducting the interviews really think it will reveal some big surprise!?
This time the question came from major media outlet Entertainment Tonight and Levy responded by saying, “I can’t even believe you would dare ask me a question you know I can’t answer. You know I can’t answer. All of America knows I can’t answer.”
He went on to address all the rumors that have been spreading, saying, “I will say, as I’ve said before here at CinemaCon, that the proliferation of rumors about who is and isn’t in this movie is fabulous. Because no one will ever know the truth until July 26th.”
Speaking previously about the cameo rumors, Levy said that some of them are true: “I love the proliferation of casting rumors on the Internet, because I never have to say what’s real and what’s fantasy, so I’ll just go with the very cliché rumors.” no comment” on anything related to casting [with] Deadpool 3.”
He added: “I will say we’re lucky in that. There is certainly… is this an answer? Many of the rumors on the Internet are completely false, but some are not.”
A new synopsis for the film reads: “After some professional disappointments and an ongoing midlife crisis, Wade Wilson is now selling used cars. He’s completely hung up his boots until his family, friends and the entire world are threatened.
“With everyone he loves at risk, DP teams up with a reluctant Wolverine to fight for their survival and, ultimately, their legacy.”
The confirmed cast for the film includes Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Emma Corrin in the role of Cassandra Nova, Morena Baccarin AND Stefan Kapicic like Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in a TVA agent, and Leslie Uggam in the role of blind Al.
They are united by Brianna Hildebrand AND Shioli Kutsuna will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend, Yukio. This had already been confirmed Jennifer Garner she will return as Elektra in the film.
Deadpool and Wolverine hits theaters July 26th!
