Lionsgate has shared some new footage from the upcoming reboot of The Raven during his presentation at CinemaCon and this is our reaction!
Bill Skarsgard (It) stars in the film, and in it, “Soulmates Eric Draven (Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA Twigs) are brutally murdered when demons from his dark past reach them.
“Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric decides to seek ruthless revenge on their killers, crossing the worlds of the living and the dead to make the wrongs right.”
Fans of the original Alex Proyas the film isn’t happy about it The Raven It’s being remade, but it’s coming, and it’ll be interesting to see what happens when it comes out and if people come to watch it.
This version of the film comes from the director Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman, Ghost in the shell), and is also the protagonist Danny Houston (30 days of night), Laura Birn (Foundation), Sami Bouajila (A son), AND Giordano Bolger (The Woman King).
The Raven reboot will be released in theaters on June 7, 2024.
