Lionsgate has shared the first footage from director Mel Gibson’s upcoming action film project Flight risk during their presentation at CinemaCon.
In the suspense thriller, Mark Wahlberg plays a pilot transporting an air marshal (Michelle Dockery), charged with accompanying a fugitive (Topher Grace) to the trial. As they journey through the Alaskan wilderness, tensions rise and trust is tested, as not everyone on board is who they seem.

The picture is based on the 2020 Black List screenplay by Jared Rosenberg. Davis Entertainment will produce alongside Gibson and Bruce Davey through their Icon Productions. A release date has not yet been set, but we are expected to see the film in 2024.
