KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES will have a new clip and featurette as tickets go on sale

We have a new clip and behind-the-scenes featurette to share with you Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes while tickets for the film go on sale.

This is an action-adventure show that I’ve been dying to see and it looks directorial Wes Ball will tell a solid and emotional story.

Ball talks about the film he made in the featurette, and says he wanted to give audiences “an expressive, real experience that takes us into a world we’ve never seen before.”

The clip that was shared features two of the main monkey characters interacting with a human and in the process giving her the name Nova.

The film is set “several generations into the future following Caesar’s reign, where apes are the dominant species and live in harmony and humans are reduced to living in the shadows.

“As a tyrannical new ape leader builds his empire, a young ape embarks on a harrowing journey that will lead him to question everything he knows about the past and make choices that will define a future for both apes and humans.”

The film’s cast includes Owen Teague (It), Freya Allen (The witcher), AND Peter Macon (The Orville). The film’s screenplay comes from Josh Friedman (War of the Worlds), Rick Jaffa AND Amanda Silver (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), AND Patrick Aison (Prey).

He is also a co-star Travis Jeffrey (Uninterrupted), Neil Sandilands (Sweetness), Sara Wisemann (One of us is lying), Ras-Samuel Welda’abzgi (The clearing), Lydia Peckham (Cowboy bebop), AND Kevin Durand.

Speaking about the film’s setting, Ball said: “I wanted to take a big leap forward in time. It’s quite telling that Caesar is still a spirit in the film, but most of his living relatives are not in this picture. If the last three films were about the Stone Age, here we can see what happens when they enter the Bronze Age.”

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes will be released in theaters on May 24, 2024.
