Alison Brie offered an update on Community: the film and revealed that they have a script and that she has read it.
While appearing on Bravo’s See what happens live, Brie teased the script, saying, “We have a script, which is a major update. We have a script – you heard it here first. She continued, “I read the script and it’s so funny.”
Speaking about what she would like to see from her character in the story, she said: “I hope Annie hasn’t changed too much because I loved her the way she was.”
While Brie said no production dates have been set yet, Joel McHale he previously said the film would be shot this year, in 2024. He said he would be “shocked” if it wasn’t shot this year. “But I really think it will happen this year, and probably next week. It basically works on Donald’s schedule.
Then he joked: “Let’s go to the center of the earth. It’s like the movie The center.” Donald Glover recently revealed that the film centers on “a college reunion.” Abed Nadir, former film student at Greendale Community College, played by Danny Pudinow he’s “this great director” and the Peacock movie we’ll be watching is “his magnum opus.”
Peacock has officially announced the Community film in 2022, enlisting the show’s creator, Dan Harmon AND Andrea Guest to write the screenplay.
In addition to McHale, Glover and Brie, cast members returning for the film include Pudi, Gillian Jacobs, Jim Rash, Ken JeongAND Yvette Nicole Brown.
