Uncork’d Entertainment has released a trailer for its horror film featuring silly-looking creatures The deadly swarm. This film centers on a swarm of bloodthirsty, murderous vampire flies.
The film follows a group of friends desperate for money who attend a retreat for a medical trial. “Lured under false pretenses and managed by the suspicious Doctor Feldman, they do not know that the doctor has unwittingly created a race of killer flies and that they are hungry for blood.”
The deadly swarm “offers fans of the genre good old-fashioned fun with imaginative effects. For fans of Gremlins, The HowlingAND Creatures, promises a nostalgic yet fresh take on the horror of creatures.” Of course what they don’t mention is that, unlike the aforementioned classics, this one appears to feature terrifying computer-generated vampire flies.
The film comes from the writer and director David Gregory (Krampus: The Return), and was inspired by films like The Swarm (1978) e Black Swarm (2007).
The film was produced by Rhys Frake-Waterfield (Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey) and is now available on digital streaming and on demand. The film is exactly as you would imagine.
