Jonathan Frakes says the STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS episode he directed is the best he’s ever made

The first two seasons of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds it was a real joy to watch them. This show did a wonderful job capturing its true spirit Star Trek, and the fans freaking love it. The show did things I didn’t think it could, like how it did a great job reinventing iconic characters like Spock, Kirk, and Uhura.

I don’t know, the series ticks all the boxes of what it does Star Trek, Star Trek. They also enjoy playing in the sandbox and trying new things. As we talk about the show with Variety, co-showrunner and executive producer Akiva Goldman, makes it clear that they will not stop experimenting. He said:

“As long as our narrative is convincing and confident, I’m not sure it’s there [any genre ‘Strange New Worlds’ can’t do]. Could he do the Muppets? Safe. Could you do black and white, silent, slapstick? Perhaps!”

Star Trek veteran Jonathan Frakes he directed some episodes of the series, including the second season Star Trek: Lower Decks crossover episode “Those Old Scientists,” which was awesome! He will return to direct another episode in the upcoming third season, which he describes as a “Hollywood murder mystery” and goes on to say it is “the best episode of television he’s ever done.”

So this gives Star Trek fans, something exciting to look forward to!
