Henry Cavill saved his co-star from drowning while filming THE MINISTRY OF UNGENTLEMANLY WARFARE

Henry Cavill he is a real life hero as it was revealed that he saved one of his co-stars from drowning during filming Guy RitchieIt’s the action movie about World War II The Ungentlemanly War Office.

Alex Pettifer shared the story and praised Cavill for his quick thinking after falling off a boat. Pettyfer recalled the incident during an interview with Entertainment Tonight:

“He saved me from falling off a boat. I almost drowned. So I can officially say I was saved by Henry. And I’m very grateful to be in this movie with you.”

The actor continued to praise his co-star, saying:

“It was an incredible honor, though, to be on this movie with you because it’s a learning curve to see how a number one treats everyone in the cast and crew. I received an email two weeks before we started filming from this ‘man saying, ‘I’m excited to partner with you.'”

It sounds like Cavill is an amazing actor to work with! He also spoke about his experience making the film, saying:

“I think it was an enjoyable experience and it’s all thanks to these guys and Guy [Ritchie] and our crew. Because it creates that environment where you can have fun and it’s easy to enjoy the day… I think that’s why we can all shine in an environment like this.”

The film is based on recently declassified British War Department files and inspired by true events and will “trace the secret World War II fighting organization of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and James Bond scribe Ian Fleming. The techniques of unconventional and completely ‘ungentlemanly’ combat of the clandestine team against the Nazis contributed to changing the course of the war and partly gave birth to the modern Black Ops unit”.

The film tells the story of the first Special Forces organization formed during World War II by British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and a small group of military officers including author Ian Fleming. The top-secret combat unit, composed of a motley crew of scoundrels and mavericks, undertakes a daring mission against the Nazis using entirely unconventional and highly unladylike combat techniques. Ultimately their bold approach changed the course of the war and laid the foundations for the British SAS and modern Black Ops warfare.”

Cavill plays the leader of the secret combat organization. González will play a military sniper with extraordinary spy skills, and there will be “a bevy of colorful characters.” The film is said to have echoes of Quentin Tarantino Inglourious Basterdsand the hope is to build a great franchise out of it.

The film will be released in theaters on April 19.
