The YELLOWSTONE spin-off series has yet to cast fan-favorite actors

Taylor Sheridan’S Yellowstone the series will conclude with the second half of the fifth season, and from there it will transform into a new show that was supposed to include several original cast members of Yellowstone. However, according to a new report from Puck, none of the main cast members have signed on for the spinoff at this point.

Now, just because the deals haven’t been made yet doesn’t mean the actors won’t sign. Actors like Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, Luca Grimesand others are expected to return in the series which is tentatively titled 2024.

I imagine that with all the behind-the-scenes drama that has taken place, contract negotiations will take a little longer as actors will negotiate for more pay. But there’s also the possibility that the spin-off won’t bring back as many characters as fans are hoping for.

The series is also trying to bring Matthew McConaughey AND Michelle Pfeiffer towards the star. I’m excited for the future of Yellowstone, but I hope that Sheridan and Kevon Costner could have fixed things to complete the original plan for the series. Costner reportedly wants to return for the next half of season five, but that likely won’t happen.

Reilly previously spoke out about salary disputes, saying: “I just care about finishing [the main show] with all the care, passion and love I can muster. This is what interests me. I’m preparing for that now [and] this is the thing I care about most about my tunnel vision. And what happens beyond? There are arguments, you know. Don’t believe everything you read. It’s simply nonsense. But, you know, we’ll wait and see. I don’t have an answer right now. But we’ll see.”
