Here’s a trailer for a new horror movie called The Fetus, which stars Lauren LaVera (Terrifier 3) and horror vet Bill Moseley (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, House of 1000 Corpses, House of the Devil).
In the next horror film: “When Alyessa becomes pregnant, Chris’s deep fatherhood trauma comes to light. After discovering that their fetus craves human blood, they go to find the father, Maddox, for answers.
The film comes from the director Joe Lam, who said in a statement: “With The Fetus, I wanted to delve into the emotional terrain of Alyessa’s unwanted pregnancy, exploring the complexities it imposes on her relationships with her father Maddox and her partner Chris. The fetus becomes a metaphorical antagonist, revealing the psyches of Chris and Alyessa, leading them on a disturbing journey of fear, self-discovery and the intricate web of family dynamics. Ultimately, I hope this story challenges the boundaries of the horror genre.”
The film comes from Shining Light Pictures and Barbhouse Productions.
