Ethan Embry (Hardley can’t wait) AND Li Jun Li (Babylon) will be the protagonists of a psychological horror-mystery film entitled Alma and the wolf.
The story is set on the wild Oregon coast, Embry plays Ren Accord, “a troubled police officer who must pull himself together when, while investigating a mysterious wolf attack, his son disappears.”
The film comes from the director Michael Patrick Jann (Wonderful fall) and writer Abigail Miller. The rest of the cast includes Jeremy Harris (Legion), Lucas Jann (Path of the organs), Kevin Allison (The state), Mother Zickel (Path of the organs), Beth Malone (Fun house), Alexandra Doke (City on fire), AND Dana Millican (Soft and silent).
I’ve always liked Ethan Embry’s work and it’s great to see him continue to make film and television projects. I always thought he should do bigger and bigger things, though. He has already appeared on Sneaky Pete AND Once upon a timeand some of his film credits include First man, Blindspotting, Economic emotions, Sweet home Alabama, That thing you do! AND Empire Records.
As for Li, she also appeared Ricki and Flash, Based on a true story, Sex/Life, Bad, The exorcist, Quantum, Damageand more.
This new film should be a great project for the two actors! It looks like it will tell an interesting story. The film is currently filming in Oregon.
