We’re getting a new one Star Wars film with a speculated title, previously confirmed Star Wars: New Jedi Order, and is now said to include an Episode X in the title, indicating yet another trilogy within the Star Wars cinematic universe. We’ll see how it ends, but for now, star of the film Margaret Ridleywho will return to play Rey Skywalker, is giving fans a sneak peek at the film’s new characters and who she believes it won’t involve.
The actress told Deadline: “I would say she probably doesn’t have kids since she’s a Jedi. Literally what I know is what was announced last year, I’m waiting to read the script. I know junk. I know there’s the introduction of new characters. I don’t know the previous characters,” she admitted.
Specifically, Ridley doesn’t yet know if Kylo Ren’s voice will provoke Rey in her head. That means it’s unclear whether we’ll get it Adam Driver taking back the blue ghost of his dark side.
Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy will direct the New Jedi Order, which will be set fifteen years after the events of The Rise of Skywalker. All we know about the story so far is that Rey will be a “powerful Jedi master” who runs her own training academy.
