The Big Bang Theory actors Jim Parsons AND Mayim Bialik are set to reprise their roles from the popular TV show, which ended in 2019, in the series finale Big Bang Theory prequel series Young Sheldon. They will return one last time to play Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler, although details on how they will fit into the story of Young Sheldon they are hidden.
Young Sheldon is a prequel to big Bang and follows the character of Sheldon throughout his youth. Parsons played him as an adult big Bang and Ian Armitage brought it to life Young Sheldon.
Young Sheldon is a one-of-a-kind mind, capable of advanced mathematics and science, which isn’t always helpful in a land where church and football reign supreme. And while the vulnerable, gifted and somewhat naive Sheldon goes about his business in the world, his normal family must find a way to deal with him.
In addition to Armitage, Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Annie Potts, Montana Jordan, Raegan Revord, Emily Osment and also in the cast Jim Parsons (as the voice of Sheldon).
The final episode will air Thursday, May 16 on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
