Trailer for Amazon’s Whirlwind Romance THE IDEA OF YOU starring Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine

Amazon has released the trailer for their whirlwind romance film The idea of ​​youhero Anne Hathaway (The devil wears Prada) AND Nicola Galitzinein which Hathaway plays a forty-year-old single mom who manages to make a teenager’s dream come true: embarking on a whirlwind romance with the twenty-four-year-old lead singer of the world’s hottest boy band.

Based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Robinne Leethe plot begins with Solène’s husband, played by Reid Scottchoosing to end their marriage, which means canceling their trip to Coachella with their 16-year-old daughter Izzy (Ella Rubin). At the festival, Solène meets Hayes Campbell, the frontman of the famous band August Moon, who is said to be based on Harry Styles. As an unexpected romance begins between the two, Solène must balance her career, her obligations to her teenage daughter, and the 24-hour news cycle surrounding her relationship.

Michael Showalter directs the film from a screenplay by Jennifer Westfeldt, who will also serve as executive producer. Producers include Cathy Schulman through her label Welle Entertainment, Gabrielle Union through her banner I’ll Have Another, Hathaway through her label Somewhere Pictures, Lee, Eric Hayes, Showalter and Jordana Mollick.
