Chris Hemsworth recently shared a photo of himself from the set of George Millerit’s a badass looking film Furisona: a Mad Max saga. The image shows the actor dressed as the evil character Warlord Dementus. Hemsworth is unrecognizable in this role, but it looks like he had a blast making the movie!
In the film, “As the world fell apart, young Furiosa is kidnapped from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a large horde of bikers led by Warlord Dementus. Traveling through the Wasteland they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe As the two Tyrants battle for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she marshals the means to find her way home.
Speaking about the film earlier, Anya Taylor-Gioia says that Miller considers the next film in the series to be an epic, and explains why, saying: “The main thing George and I talked about is that Way of Fury it’s a road movie. You know, it takes place over, I think, three days: getting somewhere, then turning around and going back. And this is an epic. This happens over a long period of time and you kind of get to know it [Furiosa] it’s better that way. I love that character so much. The whole experience was stunning and George is the best. I hope [people] have fun.”
The rest of the cast includes Tom Burke, Angus Sampson, Nathan Jones, Daniel Webber, Lachy HulmeAND Quaden Bayles.
Furisona: a Mad Max saga will be released in theaters on May 24, 2024.
