A new report has surfaced regarding the title of Margaret Ridleythe next Rey Skywalker film. It was previously reported that the film would have a title Star Wars: New Jedi Order. But now, according to The Cosmic Circus, the title will actually be: Star Wars Episode X: A New Beginning. This is something they say they have confirmed, but we all know that nothing is confirmed until Lucasfilm announces it.
There are other insiders who say this isn’t the title, but IF it is, that means the Skywalker Saga is about to add another chapter, which could potentially kick off a whole new sequel trilogy. But I just want to highlight the fact that this is just a rumor.
It was also reported about a month ago that this Rey Skywalker movie won’t be the only Star Wars movie Ridley will be in. Apparently there are other films he could appear in.
The Rey Skywalker film is directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy from a screenplay written by Steven Knight. The film will be set fifteen years after the events of The Rise of Skywalker. All we know about the story so far is that Rey will be a “powerful Jedi master” who runs her own training academy.
Ridley previously said that the new story is “not what I expected” and “something very special,” and recently said that the whole idea of the film is “dead gorgeous.”
