Joe AND Antonio Russo the directors behind it Avengers: Infinity AND Avengers: Endgame they are producing a pirate movie called The Bluff through their ARGO Studios banner for Amazon MGM Studios. Priyanka Chopra Jonas (Citadel) AND Carlo Urbano (The boys) will be the protagonists of the film.
The film is co-written and directed by Frank E. Flowerswho wrote the recently released biopic Bob Marley: a love. He wrote the screenplay together Joe Ballarini.
The story is set in the 19th century Caribbean, The Bluff follows “a former female pirate (Chopra Jonas) who must protect her family when the mysterious sins of her past catch up with her.” It’s unknown who Urban will play, but it’s not hard to imagine him playing a pirate!
I like pirate movies and it’s great to see the development of a pirate movie that isn’t a pirate movie Pirates of the Caribbean Disney film.
The film will be shot in Australia and will be available for streaming on Prime Video.
