“I’m really excited [Scooby-Doo]. I can’t talk about it yet, but there’s a new project I’m associated with that will allow kids to immerse themselves in a Scooby-Doo adventure. It’s really funny. For me, this is my day job. It’s my daily bread. For me, being Shaggy for so many years and having room for that part while honoring Casey Kasem, I know that I will eventually pass that part on to the next generation like he did. I’m honored to do this as long as they have me. Scooby-Doo is always on cycle in one way or another. We’re making a cartoon, a movie, or a commercial for something. There are a million different iterations and there’s always something in the works. I’ve had the privilege and honor of being that voice for the last 16 or 17 years, so I’m going to keep that voice for as long as I can.”

It’s good to hear that Lillard is returning to the role of Shaggy. He’s great at it and the fans love it. He stays tuned for more updates on the next Scooby-Doo project.
