Josh Gad makes his comic book writing debut with THE WRITER for Dark Horse Comics

Josh Gad dives into the world of comics and makes his debut with Writera comic book series he wrote for Dark Horse. Writer it’s said to be a meta-interpretation of writing that combines creative processes with popular folklore tales, and it sounds like a lot of fun!

The series’ story centers on Stan Siegel, a writer who finds himself caught up in a “nightmare fueled by the Nazi occult.” Gad is writing the comic with Benjamin AND Max Berkowitz, with Ariel Olivetti creating art.

Gad shared in a statement, “Collaborating with the brilliant Berkowitz brothers on ‘The Writer’ was a blast and an education. Here we are, diving headfirst into a universe where cultural folklore meets high-octane adventure octane that defined our youth.” .
