Schitt’s Creek actor Eugene Levy has joined the cast of Hulu Only murders in the buildingas a recurring role in season 4. He joins the series stars/executive producers Steve Martinwho also co-created the mystery comedy, Martino Corto AND Selena Gomez as well as new recurring players Molly Shannon AND Eva Longoriaand returning actress Meryl Streep.
All the new characters will be an integral part of the twists and turns of the investigation into the murder of Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch), Charles-Haden Savage’s (Martin) stunt double from his years on the series Brazzos and its relaunch in 2020.
The casting reunites Levy with his old friend Short. The two are from the same Canadian hometown and got their start SCTV and they collaborated on several occasions. Levy also made cameos alongside Martin and Short in the film Father of the bride movie.
Disney Television Group president Craig Erwich revealed in a recent interview with Deadline that the Only murders in the building The trio, Charles, Oliver (Short) and Mabel (Gomez), will begin the new season with a trip to Los Angeles before returning to Arconia in search of Sazz’s killer. The season three finale saw Loretta (Streep), Oliver and Mabel all contemplating moving to Los Angeles.
Season 4 of Only murders in the building will arrive on Hulu later this year.
