The last of us AND The Mandalorian star Pedro Pasquale recently broke his silence regarding his choice to play Richard Reeds/Mister Fantastic in the next Marvel film The fantastic Four. As you can imagine, he’s very excited about the whole thing.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actor was asked if he would be cast in the Marvel movie, and he enthusiastically responded, “I know, it’s too much. I can’t tell you how excited I am, which is beyond.”
Pascal then spoke about the casting of the film’s other actors, saying: “There’s nothing more exciting than being part of a cast like that, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joe Quinnand our director Matt Shakmanand to be invited into a family like that is amazing and we all just want to do our best and share it with the world.”
Kirby takes on the role of Susan Storm Richards / Invisible Woman, The bearMoss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm / The Thing, e Stranger thingsQuinn takes on the role of Johnny Storm/The Human Torch.
This is a strong cast for the film, now fans are just hoping that Marvel Studios gets the story right. Setting the story in the 1960s is definitely a step in the right direction! I have high hopes for this movie. Fans have been waiting a long time for Marvel to make this movie, the pressure is on to make it great!
Fantastic Four will be directed by Matt Shakman (WandaVision) from a screenplay by Josh Friedmanwho was brought in to rewrite the script originally written by Jeff Kaplan AND Ian Springer.
Fantastic 4 will be released in theaters on July 25, 2025.
