It’s actually pretty amazing to see the details of this Star Wars creature after all these years in a way we’ve never seen them before! There are things shown here that we would never have noticed while watching the film.
Adam opens the latest prop replica from Regal Robot’s Archive Collection: a recreation of the Wampa puppet used for close-up shots of the creature in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back! We discover how this puppet, designed by Phil Tippett, was created and filmed on set, and the painstaking efforts that went into recreating his gnarled face.
